Shane Carpenter is a partner and the Co-Head of Fixed Income Trading at SPFG . He specializes in fixed income trading, portfolio implementation, analytics, and portfolio monitoring for many of the firm’s advisor clients. Additionally, Shane provides research and analytical support to members of the team and its institutional relationships. He is a CFA charterholder and member of the investment committee.
Before joining SPFG, Shane served as head of fixed income trading at a boutique investment firm in Atlanta catering to RIAs in the fixed-income markets where he’d worked since 2005. While there, he supervised the firm’s individual bond trading, worked with many of the firm’s top clients and was a member of the investment committee.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Atlanta.
After growing up in Woodstock, Georgia, Shane earned his Bachelor of Science in finance at nearby Kennesaw State University. He now resides in Marietta, GA with his wife, Jenna, and two children, Kennedy and Knox. Outside of work, Shane enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, working out and traveling.
