Michael is a partner at SPFG and oversees group operations, practice development and process implementation. He helps manage technology to better construct and review portfolios by developing proprietary systems used by the firm. He also works closely in the firm’s marketing and client outreach initiatives by creating commentary pieces, customized presentations, and managing conference planning.
Prior to SPFG, Michael worked in wealth management at UBS. While there, he and another advisor managed assets for individual mid- and high-net-worth clients and small institutions, including local hospitals, charities and small business retirement plan programs. In that environment he focused on asset allocation, fund selection, portfolio implementation, and syndicate trading – giving him valuable insights on the thoughts and concerns of retail clients.
An Atlanta native, Michael earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia in 2008 and has lived in Buckhead since. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, bird hunting, skiing and other outdoor activities.
